3 Methods to Stay Fit as a Teenager

Your body observes growth and many other changes in your teenage. So, it is the golden time of your life to design a healthy planner for you to be physically fit and healthy and to adopt a good exercise habits.

Start eating healthy diet if you want to increase your fitness level. Avoid watching TV and Netflix series all the day and have at-least one active hour in a day.

Method 1:Improving Diet

If you wanna be fit in any part of life not only as a teenager, you should had have a proper check on your diet.

 Stay away from processed and fast food. You should use milk, butter, yogurt, chicken, beef, fish and beans etc, to increase your protein level which would help you grow better.

Eat plenty of Fruits and Vegetables:

Fruits and vegetables should constitute major part of your diet. You should aim to have 3 to 4 servings of fruits and at-least 5 servings of veggies everyday.

Try to take 3 to 4 glasses of fresh orange juice everyday with 1 to 2 servings of salad. It will provide all the necessary sugars to your body which it needs to grow.

Eating Calcium and Iron containing food: 

Eating these two minerals are very crucial for teens for their grow.

You should aim to eat 1400 to 1500 milligrams of calcium everyday.

To do so, you should have to drink milk and eat dairy products like butter, hard cheese etc in a bulk quantity.

Iron is very important especially for young women. It can be found items like beef, beans, nuts, poultry and eggs etc.

Drinking Excess amount of Water:

 Your body needs plenty of water and other fluids to function well and in a case in which you are increasing your diet activity and having a good workout, it is more of a importance. 


Method 2:Staying Active Daily 


Be Active for at-least one hour:

Being active for an hour daily would help you to be fit and cut all the negative thoughts.

Try to go to a gym or have a ride on your bi-cycle or go to swimming pool or play any outdoor game to keep yourself healthy.

Play Sports:

It is well said "Health is wealth". This health can only be achieved from daily exercise or by playing games. 

Find a sport which gives you thrill and energy and play it for at-least one hour so that your muscles and brain can have some workout.

Join a Gym:

These gyms and exercise classes helps you keep fit, healthy and smart. 

These activities would help you transform your body while enjoying in a good social setting which would relax your mind too.

If you are not interested in conventional exercise classes, try some other types of exercises at home.


Walking and Running:

Morning walk and running is very important. It helps you stay fit for the whole day.

Avoid using cars and other public transport while going outside, especially while going to school.
Instead, you should prefer walking on foot to the school. It will also help you stay fit and reduce extra fat.

Reduce the Screen time:

Sitting continuously at the same place for a long time not only makes you lazy but also increases fat.

Avoid this and give your maximum time to physical activities to be healthy and small.

Method 3: Workout Plan


Exercise at Home:

Make a good routine to boost your fitness. If you do not have any access to a gym, start at home with little exercise like push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, bench presses etc.

Make proper use of all the resources you have.

If you do not know when and what to start, consult with your gym coach or search online for teenager exercise recommendations.

Adopt good routine before and after Workout:

Before starting your workout, warm up for at-least 10 to 15 mins to avoid any possible injury. It will also help you burn maximum calories during workout.

Similarly, after doing workout, have slight stretches to fell less taxed.
If you want running, think about joining a cross country team.

Find a Companion:

Find a friend who also wants to be active and fit and exercise with him. You can also ask your relatives(brother, father, uncle or cousins) if they would like to exercise with you.

 Working-out with your  friends or family members motivates you and gives you moral support.
